More than a decade later, the 997.1 GT3 RS is still regarded as one of the most authentic expressions of Porsche’s RennSport philosophy. It belongs to a time when driving feel had priority above all — a car shaped by intention, not excess.
Ordered new via Porsche Centre Antibes, France, #790877 was delivered new in January 2007 and has had a total of 3 owners from new, remaining always in France. Its provenance and history is complete, invoices, receipts and maintenance records, a clean CarVertical report and the original leather pouch with service book and manuals.
#790877 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with Orange contrast, the rarest color combination produced for the 997.1 GT3 RS. The factory configuration is especially attractive, featuring the roll cage and centre console painted in the contrasting Orange and Sport Chrono, leather package and CDR 24 Radio.
The car preserves its original first paint in its original panels -hence is accident/repair-free-. The ECU reading shows no over-revs over ranges 1 and 2 and the correct amount of engine operating hours, retains its matching-numbers engine and gearbox and has covered just 28,995 km from new. The original brown protective wax is still present on the underbody, and all parts are original, dated correctly, reflecting the level of care and preservation it has received throughout its life. This is clearly a very well taken care of, non-modified or tracked RS.
