993 Carrera RS

The 993 Carrera RS represents the ultimate evolution of Porsche’s special series, naturally aspirated, air-cooled Rennsport lineage. Developed as a lightweight homologation special and built with a singular focus on driver engagement, the 993 RS remains one of the most sought-after road-going 911’s ever produced. With production numbers limited to only 790 Touring examples worldwide and most of them having subsequently been modified for track use, exceptionally original units have become increasingly difficult to find.

Delivered new to its first custodian on October 1995 by Porsche Centre Nantes, France, this M002 Strassenversion -Touring- example was factory specified in the rare Silver to Blue shade of A8-Polar

Purposefully configured to reflect the Rennsport ethos of the model, the car was ordered with fixed bucket seats, air-conditioning delete, airbag delete and the desirable three-spoke Momo steering wheel. Combined with the limited-slip differential and 92-litre fuel tank, the specification perfectly embodies the lightweight and uncompromising character that defines the Carrera RS.

This 95’ RS spent its life exclusively on public roads, having never been raced or modified for track use. Its remarkable originality is further evidenced by the factory-applied wax protection still present on the vast majority of the undercarriage, a feature rarely encountered today and a testament to the car’s careful ownership and preservation throughout its life. It is accident free and retains its original marked body panels, original Mapotex carpet, and matching-numbers engine and gearbox.

Today, this exceptional 993 Carrera RS is presented in outstanding and original condition. Accompanying the vehicle are its original owner’s manuals, service book, service records, complete tool kit, spare wheel, and two set of keys.
